Our 9:1 attendance/absence ratio (90% attendance / 10% absence) is a guideline which outlines the number of days your dog has to attend vs the number of days your dog can be absent, while ensuring your dogs position on the Think Day Care (TDC) roster is secured/reserved.
If your dog comes 1 Day per week:
- 90% attendance means your dog has to attend 47 days
- 10% leave/absence means your dog can have 5 days off
If your dog is registered to come 2 Days per week:
- 90% attendance means your dog has to attend 94 days
- 10% leave/absence means your dog can have 10 days off
If your dog is registered to come 3 Days per week:
- 90% attendance means your dog has to attend 140 days
- 10% leave/absence means your dog can have 15 days off
Clients/Dogs who exceed their allocated leave/absent days may result in us having to reallocate your dog’s reserved position to a new client.
This policy ensures we can sustain the running costs of the service and also maintain the commitment to what the service offers.
